Persevere and know there is huge grace for you and your children. And you never know, maybe the Big Guy is working on the vocal complainers and silent grumblers too--we have faith and hope he is always working on all of us.Derrick Kunzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03729931959848359367noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7726977662159267154.post-68255207505760593102013-05-13T10:33:33.544-06:002013-05-13T10:33:33.544-06:00I'm a mother of three young ones, 5, 3, and 6 ...I'm a mother of three young ones, 5, 3, and 6 months, and we also sit in the front. We've received a fair amount of negative comments, but also positive ones. I try to pray for God to bless the ones who are annoyed, and I know they don't know that my youngest is in pain (gallstones) and doesn't normally comfort nurse due to reflux and tongue & lip ties (they've been clipped, but it's still a bit of work for him). Even though the most vocal complainer knows about the gallstones, it isn't obvious that he's in pain unless you see him all the time. And of course they don't realize the 3-year-old is having a hard time not having my attention. It can be hard.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16376858784972563684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7726977662159267154.post-24058318960841184032013-04-25T12:20:44.271-06:002013-04-25T12:20:44.271-06:00That's awesome! Think of the ripple effect of that simple interaction: it helps parents feel comfortable, it makes the kids feel welcome and it may even open kids' minds to a religious vocation because they see you as "normal" and even fun.Derrick Kunzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03729931959848359367noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7726977662159267154.post-91844840549125941072013-04-25T08:39:10.796-06:002013-04-25T08:39:10.796-06:00I am a Sister who sits behind families and make fa...I am a Sister who sits behind families and make faces to entertain children...ahem... or me :( thanks for the great post!!!
